Paul Bowles letter to Bob Sharrard [manuscript], 1987 March 9.

In a brief one page letter Bowles thanks Sharrad for a payment to [Mohammed] Mrabet and discusses the difficulties of sending international money orders. He asks where Mrabet should send his drawings. He comments briefly that "the war continues unabated...Qaddhafi is back on the offensive with his excellent Soviet arms and technicans. I am afraid the war will never end until something drastic happens here to weaken the resistance." Bowles concludes with comments on his health and the receipt of an essay sent by Jack Collins that also mentions Rodrigo Rey Rosa and Jeffrey Miller.
